Michigan Football Cancels Game with Arkansas State Due to COVID-19 Issues
Wolverines forced to cancel game due to positive COVID-19 cases
Game was scheduled for this Saturday at Michigan Stadium
The Michigan Wolverines football team has been forced to cancel its game against the Arkansas State Red Wolves this Saturday due to positive COVID-19 cases within the program.
The decision was made after consultation with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and the Big Ten Conference.
The game was scheduled to be played at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor.
This is the second game that Michigan has had to cancel this season due to COVID-19.
The Wolverines also had to cancel their game against Washington on Sept. 11.
Michigan is now scheduled to open its season on Sept. 25 against Western Michigan.
Arkansas State is now scheduled to open its season on Sept. 25 against Central Arkansas.
