Madrigal Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: MDGL) today announced the appointment of Carole Huntsman as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Huntsman brings more than 30 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry to her role, where she will be responsible for leading the company's commercial operations for its lead product candidate, resmetirom, for the treatment of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) and fibrosis.
