Bournemouth vs Arsenal: Live Premier League Updates from the 1230pm BST Kick-Off

Welcome to Our Live Coverage

Hello and welcome to our live coverage of Bournemouth against Arsenal in the first Premier League game of the day. We'll be bringing you all the latest updates from the Emirates Stadium, as well as all the goals as they go in.

Bournemouth vs Arsenal: The Key Match-Ups

There are plenty of key match-ups to look out for in this one, not least the battle between Arsenal's in-form striker Gabriel Jesus and Bournemouth's resolute defense. Jesus has been in scintillating form this season, scoring seven goals in his last five appearances for the Gunners. However, he will come up against a Bournemouth defense that has kept three clean sheets in their last four games.

Another key battle will be in midfield, where Arsenal's Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey will be looking to control the tempo of the game against Bournemouth's Jeff Lerma and Lewis Cook. Xhaka and Partey have been in excellent form this season, and they will be looking to continue their good work against a Bournemouth side that has struggled to create chances in recent weeks.

The Story So Far

Bournemouth come into this game on the back of a disappointing 2-0 defeat at home to Manchester United in their last Premier League outing. The Cherries had plenty of chances to get something from the game, but they were ultimately undone by some clinical finishing from the Red Devils.

Arsenal, on the other hand, come into this game on the back of a 4-2 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion in their last Premier League match. The Gunners were in excellent form in that game, and they will be looking to continue their good work against Bournemouth.

The League Table

Bournemouth are currently 17th in the Premier League table, two points above the relegation zone. Arsenal, meanwhile, are top of the table, five points clear of Manchester City.
